Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your bookshelf, be it the physical one or your digital one!

Don’t forget to link me to your Stacking the Shelves (or whatever kind of post like this you do) post below so I can stop in!!

Okay, let’s get one things straight here – I hate movie tie-in covers. I never buy them, and avoid them like they carry a flesh eating bacteria.  However, I also happen to really love Dylan O’Brien, and he happens to like me too…

See? I mean, what other proof do you need?

Okay – books…books, I was talking about books. So, I hate movie tie ins…yea, we covered that – OH! So I saw THE MAZE RUNNER tie-in while sniffing browsing the books at Barnes & Noble and HAD. TO. HAVE. IT. (his face is on the spine too….oh yea.)

BETTER HOMES AND HAUNTINGS by Molly Harper thank you Pocket Books!
SLEEP NO MORE by Aprilynne Pike thank you HarperTeen!
THE TREATMENT (The Program #2) by Suzanne Young thank you Simon Pulse

And from my lovelies over at Atria Books a finished copy of MAYBE SOMEDAY by Colleen Hoover that I just might use for a giveaway since I simply LOVED this book and think everything should read it!

And of course I got Catching Fire! Best Buy was having a killer deal, both movies in BluRay for only $27.99 – yup. Got them both! I only had a digital version of THG anyway since I couldn't be bothered to drive anywhere the night that came out on DVD. God Bless Amazon for that stuff!

  1. I hate movie tie-in covers too, though I do like the Maze Runner's cover. Is it sad I didn't know the Catching Fire had come out on blu-ray/DVD yet? I think it is. Anyway, hope you enjoy your books!

    Here is mine:

  2. I'm usually not a fan of movie tie-in covers, with the exception of Divergent...for some reason I love it! I'm such a bad fan, I don't own either movie from The Hunger Games, but it's because I openly sob's a bit pathetic actually haha. Happy reading :)

  3. Ugh. Movie tie-in covers. I hate when they're the only thing available to buy.

I've heard great things about Maybe Someday. I can't wait to read it!

  4. The Maze Runner tie-in cover isn't too bad. I actually kind it. So many good book to movies are coming out this year! I can't wait. I need to go get my copy of CF. I saw the trailer for it the other day and it made me tear up.

  5. I don't usually pay any attention to the covers of the books I buy. Though I do like them all to be the same size on my shelves - especially books in a series. I got Catching Fire too this week but haven't watched it yet. I'm really bad about watching movies. Come see what I added to my stacks at Inside of a Dog and Mx. Martin Teaches Media. Happy reading!

  6. Great book haul this week. Enjoy your reading :)

  7. I'm the same as you with movie tie-in cover, but also like you, I LOVE Dylan O'Brien! Can't wait to see him in The Maze Runner.
