Reid Alexander is used to getting what he wants – and what he wants next is his newest costar, Emma Pierce. The universe is lining up nicely to grant his wish, until he’s confronted with two unexpected obstacles on location: a bitter ex-girlfriend and a rival for Emma’s affections.
Emma Pierce just got her big break after years of filming commercials and made-for-TV movies. Winning the lead role in a wide-release film – opposite the very hot Reid Alexander – should be a dream come true. But Emma’s heart is hiding a secret fantasy: she wants to be a normal girl.

If you like Tammara Webber, you will be loving my blog for the next week. Between the review of EASY last week, and it’s sequel BREAKABLE being on my Waiting on Wednesday shortly after, the reviews of all 4 of the Between The Lines Series are going to make me look like a stark raving crazy fan girl. I may have to re-name the blog “Me, Tammara Webber and I” soon.  (That sound you just heard was her retraining order on me being stamped and signed…)

This book is so addicting, that I literally – at 1 am, turned the last page of it and promptly purchased the next on my Kobo and dove in.  (Thank GOD for eReaders and me not having to wait until a store opens for the next installment) The bags under my eyes…all Tammara Webbers fault – not that I’m complaining. That’s what make-up is for after all.  But this review is not for book 2, no, no, I will start at the beginning.

Between The Lines will draw you in with it’s seemingly regular, every day plot line, then drag you around unsure of the direction you are headed, or even the one you want to go in.  With alternating POV’s it’s hard to not love and hate each character a little from time to time. Some definitely more than others.

Emma’s caught, between a rock and a famous place. The epic love triangle so many hate, here in Between The Lines, will be redeemed for you forever. Nothing is more gut wrenching, more honest, more crazy complicated than a love triangle – when it’s done correctly -  and Webber once again knocks me over by taking something so simple and making it so damned amazing.

In one corner wearing a cocky grin and carrying the keys to a douche-taxi yellow Lotus we have Reid Alexander. He’s Hollywood’s top young star, and he knows it and uses it his advantage. And in the other corner wearing compassionate smile and running shoes, the quiet Indie movie guy who seems to be giving off mixed signals, Graham Douglas.

I alternated between wanting to sucker punch Reid for, well just being himself half the time. And screaming at Graham to grow a set. Both infuriated me on their own levels through out the entire story.  But as Tammara Webber has proven before, each of her characters is not always what meets the eye. Early on in the Between The Lines series I resolved to not simply judge a character by their point of view, but by how others see them in their point of view.

Tammara Webber joins a short list of only 4 other authors who I have read back to back, with an undying need for the next installment. To hell with personal hygiene or sleeping, give me the books! The best thing about this list, absolutely none of them are from the same genre and while I would love to prattle on about that, we will call it another tale for another time and I will fly off because I still have more books in this series begging ot be read!

Keep an eye out, the review for book 2 in this series will be up tomorrow!
