High school senior Victoria “Tori” Reeve has it pretty good. She’s rich, she’s smart, and she’s popular. What more could a girl ask for? Sure, she’s a little lonely, what with being single and her best friend going off to college and all, but she’s got her work at the Spaulding Crisis Center to keep her busy. When she gets a new boss in the very easy on the eyes form of Isaac Larsen, suddenly her volunteer work feels a lot less like work. Even if he does seem to cause Tori to break out into spontaneous fits of foot in mouth disease. Somehow in spite of her blunderitis, Isaac still seems to be interested in her in a more-than-employer or even more-than-friends kind of way.

So really she should have known that things would go sideways.

Trouble comes to Spaulding, and that trouble seems to be centered on Tori and the Crisis Center. Is she really the focus? Or does this all have to do with the new mysterious man in her life? In her efforts to find out, Tori stumbles across some secrets. Skeletons that might have been better off left in the closet. As it turns out, Spaulding is a hot spot for bad blood.

I read the description of "Bad Blood" as my brain was telling me that this story would be something different to read!  I was not expecting vampires to be in this book.  This intrigue me even more!  Where was "Bad Blood" going to take me?  Will I not like it or will it be a great read?   There are tons of books out there that deal with vampires.  "Bad Blood" takes it to a new level on how the characters interact with each other on the matters of vampires and relationships.  I am not going to tell you who the vampire is as you must read this book to find out!

Seventeen year old Victoria (Tori) Reeve is a girl who is rich and popular and works at a crisis center. She helps out others with their everyday issues.  Life is pretty normal for her until a new boss arrives and  is drop dead gorgeous!  She cannot stop staring at her new boss and makes a fool of herself in front of him which I laughed quite a few times.  I loved how blunt Tori was towards her new boss, Issac Larsen.  Somehow Issac is interested in Victoria (Tori) and thinks it's to safe for her to walk home at times which I found to be a man of concern.  This also made me wonder if he had some supernatural aspect to him or it was due to the fact how he was raised. Tori and Issac slowly go into a relationship but many  unexpected  twists and turns pop up.

Just wait a minute!!  Issac isn't the only handsome guy mentioned in this book!  Drew, Tori's best friend is another yummy character to learn about. I love the nick name Tori has for Drew on her phone as 'Princess Anne!'   The chemistry and witty comments between Drew and Tori just creates such a nice spark between the two.  As both of them been friends for so long, I believe there might be  something romantic sprouting out with them.  Who would Tori go for?  Her best friend, Drew or Issac?  Issac is quite a gentleman and stunning.  Drew is just absolutely delicious and witty.  I think I would go for Drew.  Who would you choose?

While dealing with high school, dating, and  learning about vampires, Tori also becomes a target.  She gets attacked at one point but Issac stops them.  Then some of her friends go missing which causes Tori to worry.   Tori then realizes she is the target!  That her friends are being used.  So who  and why is doing this?  Once Tori meets up with her enemy, she stands her ground. The vampire theme does relate to why Tori being a target as I will not say what it is because that would give away the whole book.  Does she survive?

I loved this book and could not put it down.  The characters are amazing with their unique, fun quirks.  I really liked Tori since she is a strong character who speaks her mind to everyone, even to her father who wants to control her.   Tori's mother seems very interesting character as you will read and find out a secret that she harbors.  Drew is just delicious and reminds me of the boy next door.    Issac is quite a gentleman and has as secret as well. Quinn who is Issac's adopted sister is a smart aleck and instantly gets along with Tori.  All the characters  work well with each other and makes the story fantastic!

The author's ending  left me wanting more!   If you are a fan of vampires, you will inhale this story, I know I did!  You won't regret picking this book up and reading it.  Check it out today.
