Nora Grey can't remember the past five months of her life. After the initial shock of waking up in a cemetery and being told that she has been missing for weeks - with no one knowing where she was or who she was with - she tried to get her life back on track. Go to school, hang out with her best friend, Vee, and dodge mom's creepy new boyfriend.

But there is this voice in the back of her head, an idea that she can almost reach out and touch. Visions of angel wings and unearthly creatures that have nothing to do with the life she knows.

And this unshakable feeling that a part of her is missing.

Then Nora crosses paths with a sexy stranger, whom she feels a mesmerizing connection to. He seems to hold all the answers...and her heart. Every minute she spends with him grows more and more intense until she realizes she could be falling in love. Again.

SILENCE is another solid installment in the Hush, Hush saga. As with previous books, SILENCE is filled with action, suspense, and plenty of hotness. Again, Fitzpatrick leaves readers breathless and aching to find out what happens next. Luckily, I had FINALE on hand and was able to start on it without delay!

I must say that when I first started SILENCE I was a bit confused. It had been a while since I had read CRESENDO and I couldn’t remember exactly how things had left off. It might not have been so bad if Nora hadn’t been completely in the dark as to what happened in the last 5 months. It seemed Nora and I were in the same boat. Fortunately for me, I had CRESENDO and was able to do a quick refresher and was easily caught up. Nora wasn’t as lucky.

For most of the book, Nora has absolutely no idea what’s going on. She’s completely in the dark and no one seems eager to fill in the gaps of her missing memory, not even her bestie, Vee. Nora grew frustrated and again Nora and I were on the same page. I kept wanting for someone to let her know what the heck was going on! Enter, Scott Parnell. Scott was the only one that seemed even the least bit interested in telling Nora what was going on. Nora wasn’t crazy about trusting him but since he was the only one talking she has no choice but to listen.

I do want to give all Patch fans a warning; Patch isn’t as present in Nora’s life as he is in previous books. Don’t worry though, he’s makes the most of his smaller page count! There are a couple of scenes that are hot and will have you drooling for your very own sexy fallen angel!

In SILENCE, we get a much better picture of Hank’s plan and army. Finally, we find out what Hank’s doing and how he’s doing it. There are plenty of twists and turns and several surprises along the way.

I do want to mention that I listened to the audiobook of SILENCE and the narrator wasn’t my favorite. I wasn’t too fond of the voices she did for other characters. Hank always sounded like he was talking in slow motion and Patch sounded a little too gruff. The narrator had a nice voice but sometimes it was a little too bubbly and there were awkward pauses.

Fitzpatrick does an excellent job of building up the conclusion of the series. Readers will be anxious to see how Patch and Nora’s story will end. A must read for fans of the series!
