BEST BOOK EXPERIENCE OF THE YEAR

This year has been an AMAZING year for me as far as “Book Experiences”
go. Don’t believe me? Well, just to give you an idea of how great a year
I’ve had let me drop a few names…I met Kiera Cass, Richelle Mead,
Rick Riordan, Anna Banks, Aprilynne Pike, Melisaa Marr, Rachel Caine,
Emmy Laybourne, Allyson Noel, Franny Billingsley, Rachel Vincent, and
Stephanie Perkins.

So yeah, it’s been a good year. The best book experience I had this year
was by far The Romantic Times Book Convention. This year it was held in
Chicago and I took my first ever flight to go to this convention. There were
a ton of authors, way more than I named, there. The whole place was filled
with other people that shared my love for books and bursting with positive
energy. How awesome is that?

The best part about the convention is that they had a Teen Day party
where all of the amazing YA authors that attended and everyone that went
to the signing get to go eat and mingle. Yes, I mingled with Kiera Cass,
Richelle Mead, and Rachel Caine! I even got some amazing pictures!

I talked the most at the Teen Day party to Rachel Caine and Franny
Billingsley. Both were super awesome and so sweet! Unfortunately, I
hadn’t read the amazing that was later to be known to me as The Selection
so I didn’t know that I should have been stalking Kiera Cass but I did talk to
her for a couple of minutes.

If you are looking for a book convention to go to next year I definitely
recommend this one! It’s going to be in Kansas City. (I would LOVE to go
but I’m not sure if my finances will allow for it. I will be going again though!)
