And he’s got a fun This or That interview AND a amazingly generous Giveaway!!!

This book, my first, is a true labor of love. It took approximately thirteen months to get it into the shape which you see now. It's dedicated to my wife, Tammy, and to my late mother who did not live to see it in any form at all. During one particular part of the story--and I bet you'll know it when you come to it--you will read my direct thoughts and mindset of the days surrounding the death of my mother; and it is from this horrid experience (that I hope none of you ever encounter) that I wrote of those days. Much of me is laid bare on the pages, but I'm not bothered that others will see the emotion--in fact, I want the emotion to make one realize how precious the time we have truly is. One can only survive those horrors because of family and love. When not writing and wishing for that killer book deal, I pay the bills by being a Systems and Network Administrator for a large, multinational corporation, in Iowa City, IA. I’m married, I have a dog, and I can be bribed with good food.

Locarno, when he was a boy of sixteen, was envious of vampires: they were elusive, immortal, strong, and powerful. But that was when he was foolish and young; and now, knowing what he knows, he understands that they are nothing but a plague upon humanity—a disease that needs to be removed. He despises them because of the things they did, and continue to do, to the unknowing populace: treating humanity like nothing more than cattle. And for that, they must be destroyed. This, his private journal—his memories—left for those who may find and read it, is a living record of the time when his destiny was first intertwined with unspeakable evil.

Horror or Comedy  -- Wow, this really depends on mood; but I do love a good comedy more, so I will go with that.

Email or Hand Written Note – Email. I’m a techy dude, and though I love to write, I type far better, and everyone I know has email.

Jeans or Sweat Pants – Jeans. For work, play, or whatever, they are my go to pant of choice!

Weeding the Garden or Mowing the Lawn --  Mowing. I’d rather do that than those other two combined!

Writing or Plotting – Writing, definitely. I don’t so much “plot” as know where I am headed and just let the story get there organically.

Twitter of Facebook – Facebook is a lot more fun and is WAAAY better to interface with friends and fans.

Cake or Ice Cream – Ice Cream WITH cake! J

Roller Coasters or Merry Go Rounds – I’m not into coasters all that much, they scare the crap outta me.

Coffee or Tea – Neither. I hate them both. I’m a soda/pop kinda guy.

Night Owl or Morning Person – My work makes me a morning person, but if I had my way I’d be a vampire stalking the night.
