Would you risk it all to change your destiny?

The last thing Kelsey Hayes thought she’d be doing this summer was trying to break a 300-year-old Indian curse. With a mysterious white tiger named Ren. Halfway around the world. But that’s exactly what happened. Face-to-face with dark forces, spellbinding magic, and mystical worlds where nothing is what it seems, Kelsey risks everything to piece together an ancient prophecy that could break the curse forever.

When first receiving this book for review from Amber, I didn't expect to like it much less LOVE it. This is just simply not the type of book that I usually read. I was proven wrong about this book! Way wrong.

You meet the lovely Kelsey who's parent's died so she had to move in with her Foster parents Sarah and Mike. While it isn't the best thing in the world at least she has people who care about her. While in search for a job she discovers a temporary 2 week job at a Circus where she would be cleaning and working with the Tiger... as soon as she laid eyes on that Tiger there was an instant connection between the two of them and I knew this book was going to be good. I also knew right from the bat that there was more to "Ren" the tiger than what was shown.

After Kelsey took the job at that circus the ACTION took off, and I was left reading it like HOLD ON WAIT FOR ME! While working at the circus Kelsey got really attached to Ren and was really sad when someone anonymous had bought him. Mr. Kadam the man who purchased Ren from the circus asked Kelsey if she would like to accompany him to India, and she agreed. After agreeing to this I knew Kelsey's life was really about to CHANGE big time!  Kelsey and Ren "The Tiger" went through many things together during this book... I really enjoyed this book and am so glad that I read it. I have to admit it did get boring towards the middle but I am SUPER glad I pushed through because it was amazing! I definitely can't wait to read Book #2! The romance between Ren and Kelsey was so sweet, beautiful, and heart-wrenching at the same time. LOVED THE ROMANCE BETWEEN THESE TWO SO MUCH! They made me so mad but I wanted to still cheer for them LOL, they are super stubborn.. both of them!

The ending KILLED me, yes "KILLED ME". If you enjoy fantasy and adventure twinged with romance and action this book is most definitely for you! The world that Coulleen has built is so amazing and complex that it would take me about 10 pages to explain to you in depth everything that I want to share with you but I don't want to spoil anything for you... So here are the things you should know:

1. There is more to Ren than what meets the eye.
2. Kelsey is tied closely into Ren's life for "some" reason, that you'll have to read to find out.
3. Ren and Kelsey will drive you crazy... In a good way :)

  2. I loved Tiger's Curse! And yes, I agree that I wanted to snack some sense into Kelsey by the end. I sat there thinking "Are you nuts?!". Anyway, great review. :)
