The Cor Griffin Bloodsuckers' story continues in the thrilling sequel to Dark Matter Heart.
Cor, Taylor and Caitlyn have put an end to The Creeper’s reign of terror, but at what cost? The teens’ lives are thrust deeper into turmoil as Detectives Tolliver and Orlovsky keep Cor under surveillance; Caitlyn copes with her transformation, and Taylor sets off a cataclysmic chain of events that will tragically change their lives forever.
Last time I gave you all Taylor, Cor’s best friend and basically sidekick, as my favorite character (If you haven’t read my last review see it here) this time I will give you my least favorite which has to be, Cor’s questionable love interest, Caitlyn and I think you will agree with me when you reach the ending of the book. Even what Taylor does to turn things upside down for the three of them I can take with good grace compared to what Caitlyn did.
I don’t want to spoil anything for you guys and gals but I was hoping one of the relationships uncovered in the first book would be developed more but unfortunately that was not to be. I feel a lot of the description in the book speaks to Mr. Wrann’s theatrical flair why might be why he has filmed trailers for his first book. (see trailer for first book here)
I must warn you guys there is a new love interest for one of the main characters and I am not really sure how they are going to fit into the series. There is also a new revelation to Cor’s ability which I have to say is pretty random. I enjoyed this book perhaps not as much as the first but once again the ending left with cliff hanger that has me interested in what will happen in the next book, which has been discussed on the Facebook page of Dark Matter Heart the first book of the Cor Griffin Bloodsuckers Series.
