They’ve returned to the present to save their father, just short of his tragic death, and now all four return to the place that holds the girls’ hearts, medieval Italy. But remaining there means facing great risk as the battle for territory wages on and the coming Black Plague looms. Can they convince their parents to stay and leave behind everything they’ve worked so hard to accomplish? And will the girls sacrifice their futures in an uncertain past? Or in facing death head-on, will they discover life as it was always meant to be lived?
As for the third  installment of the River of Time Series, this book was great as it did quench my questions.  I did think that the third book was a nice ending but I really liked the first two books better. Lia and Gabi's father does come back and tries to understand why his daughters were acting like its their last day to die along with his wife who also had the warrior mode as well which was a fantastic touch. I was glad to see their father alive and to see how quickly he adjusts to living back in time.

The adventure, the romance and drama and history filled the book up well and did not disappoint me at all. The book had a lot of action in it which was amazing as usual.  I was hoping a bit more Lia and Luca plot as well.   I felt like I was transported back in time again through the pages. I also thought would be neat to go back in time for a short bit to see the world as it was and then come back.

The other aspect that jumped out at me was the sensual tension between Marcello and Gabi to get married.  There are kisses which Gabi seems to like and questions why to wait until their wedding night as Marcello frowns upon this idea.   So there is romance but the passion of romance seems to be in full blossom after Marcello and Gabi are married.  Then with the idea of romance and marriage in my mind, left me wondering if Luca and Lia would be heading down the path as well?

These series are great!  I'm glad I got to read with the help of my fellow bloggers and the author.  Thank you so much.  You should pick up these series today, you will not regret it.
