Life as the Preliator is harder than Ellie ever imagined.
Balancing real life with the responsibility of being Heaven’s warrior is a challenge for Ellie. Her relationship with Will has become all business, though they both long for each other. And now that the secret of who she really is has come out, so have Hell’s strongest reapers. Grown bold and more vicious, the demonic threaten her in the light of day and stalk her in the night.
She’s been warned.
Cadan, a demonic reaper, comes to her with information about Bastian’s new plan to destroy Ellie’s soul and use an ancient relic to wake all the souls of the damned and unleash them upon humanity. As she fights to stay ahead of Bastian’s schemes , the revelations about those closest to her awaken a dark power within Ellie that threatens to destroy everything—including herself.
She’ll be betrayed.
Treachery comes even from those whom she loves, and Ellie is broken by the deaths of those who stood beside her in this Heavenly war. Still, she must find a way to save the world, herself, and her love for Will. If she fails, there will be hell to pay.

Dear Michael Bay,

I know it seems odd for a lowly book blogger to be reaching out to you, but I have a small request if I could just take but a moment of your time today.

Recently I finished a novel by Courtney Allison Moulton, titled Wings of the Wicked, it is the second in her Angelfire series, and all the while as I turned each page, all I could think of was how amazing this would be as a movie. The only person capable of capturing the amazing special effects required to bring this novel to screen, is you.

Between the work you did on Transformers and Friday the 13th (2009), you will easily be able to create not only a realistic and terrifying recreation of the monsters and demons she fights through the series but also capture carnage and destruction death they bring with them to each fight. Also, and this is most important, I don’t believe there is anyone else would be be able to show the remarkable and impressive glory that is the Angelfire, which are the swords Ellie; our heroine, can call to her hands from thin air, because she is after all the human vessel of Archangel Gabriel sent to Earth to fight the evil vir.

I really believe that if you took the time to make this series into a movie you would have a sensational hit on your hands. Men and Woman would flock to the theaters for, not just the aforementioned fighting but also the emotional whiplash of the love story intricately woven within. You sir, would have created the perfect date movie a little something for everyone!

Thank you kindly for your time today,

Patiently awaiting the movie release day:

Alright, alright, so the chances of Michael Bay actually reading that is slim. It does not lessen the fact that every word of it is true. You guys so much of this novel played out in my head in crisp clear HD with sound effects, it HAS to happen. Epic wouldn't even cover it. It’s hard for me to go into detail with out ruining the book, which you know I hate to do.

Praise over and over for Courtney, as not once or twice but several times I was left gaping at the book before me, shocked at what I had read trying to figure out IF THAT really just happened. My heart broke, soared, and broke some more. I felt like I fought along side Ellie, who is really coming into her memories and remembering who she is – the human vessel of Gabriel (which we learn in the first book) – and ok, BTW I think this SO cool…who would have thought Archangel Gabriel, sent to earth to fight evil would be reincarnated for centuries as a GIRL! *high fives Courtney*

In Wings of the Wicked we watch Ellie try to meld her human life with that of the life Gabriel that is within her. We see her struggle with emotions for her Guardian Will, which were revealed in the first of the series and we see a lot of kick ass fighting, carnage and death. One tiny spoiler, no worries to any of you worried if “Marshmallow 2” makes it through this book….she will come out unscathed. ;)

Wings of the Wicked, was even better than Angelfire and if you don’t read it – I’ll send the most evil of Vir after you!
