{Top Ten Tuesday} 2

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. It was created because of their love of lists, and I myself love lists as well - so you will see it frequently popping up on MMSAI.
Everyone is welcome to join in, and don't worry if you can't think of 10 - just do as many as you can. And of course, be sure to link back to TBATB on your post!

Top 10 Books I Would Like To See
Made Into A Movie

as always for me, these are in no particular order

1. The Maze Runner - James Dashner: I just read it this week and am currently reading book two in the series and let me tell you, it would make a KICK-ASS movie. Think, The Lord of the Fly's meets the Lost Boys of Neverland and some Hunger Games thrown in! Yea! I know, right! Now let's make this happen!

2. A Touch Mortal - Leah Clifford: It's dark and deep plus the act of the "touch" in the book would be an amazing CGI effect I definitely have to see. Also I would like to be cast in the movie, I'll even be one of this kids that show up on the front step....(look if you don't know what I'm talking about - go read the book. Seriously, it's one of my favorites)

3. Angelfire - Courtney Allison Moulton: - Huge monsters, cars getting smashed, people thrown through windows....call Speilberg I got his next hit!

4. The Near Witch - Victoria Schwab: - Okay, it's not even released yet but trust me when I say that this movie needs to be done. I even mentioned in my review of it how M. Night Shamalan would be the perfect director because the creepy suspense of this book is just like one of his movies.

5. The Body Finder - Kimberly Derting: The girl can find dead bodies....who doens't want to see this made into a movie. Plus, think about how freaking cool the death echos would be after CGI! See! Why Holly wood keeps remaking stupid crap from the 80's is beyond me when they have all this awesome material in YA fiction to work with.

6. Vampire Academy - Richelle Mead: Most this is because I want Ben Barns to be Dimitri and because there's what 6 books which means 6 movies...see now I'm thinking about Dimitri and pretty sure I'm useless from here out....

7. Starcrossed - Josephine Angelini: This doens't come out until May, but the premis behind the book would make an awesome movie. I also think that some of the flashbacks that could happen would be amazing and there's not any movie out there right now with this idea behind it. I don't want to say too much because the books not even released yet - but you'd like it. Promise.

8. The Black Dagger Brotherhood - JR Ward: Oh come on! Someone HAD to say it. These books are my guilty pleasure, NOT for the under 18 crowd and would be hot. Let's leave it at that shall we?

9. Bumped - Megan McCafferty: Controversial, but would still send a good message. This book took me by surprise and I think that a movie version would be awesome and maybe even get some of these "Teen Moms" and other MTV wannabes, a clue in those thick skulls of theirs. This book is out end of this month, pick it up - let it surprise you too.

10. Anathema - Megg Jensen: The setting, the castles, the clouds, the weapons....oooohh the BOY! This book would make a great movie, I can see it becoming HUGE! Best part of this, you can get this book on an ereader right now for like .99! GO!

  1. I so agree with making the BDB ino a movie... But I seriously doubt they could do it justice!

  2. lol @ comment about dimitri I so love him!! I need that movie to be made. Angelfire would be such a great movie, so much action!

    here's my list

  3. I'd love to see a BDB movie but I think casting would be an issue - where to find people to play the Brotherhood? Not to mention a huge part of the books are so graphic, lol.
