This was a first for me, and angsty angel book. And, you know what, I really liked it! There is a whole new twist to the supernatural, "Upstairs" and "Downstairs" and all things in between that really keeps you guessing. I found myself a few times throughout the book going....."How did she think of that!"

First thing you should know is this is a fairly dark book, it's not just your typical angst book, and I don't just mean because of the angle mash up I mentioned previously. This deals a lot with death and suicide to be more specific. (no that wasn't a spoiler - it's common topic through out) so have ready for that. So it's a more darker angst book - did that make sense?

So here's my run down: Eden's unhappy and her family is distancing them self from her, she can't figure out why she's been a really good kid lately. She's wondering what she's got to live for when Az wanders towards her on the beach with his best friend Gabe. It's love at first obnoxious pick up line, but Eden will soon find out having that happily ever after isn't as easy as she originally thought it would be.

So, we've got angst, angles, love, drool-worthy boys, good music, responsibility, death, suicide and demons all in one book. How does this not sound amazing! I can not wait to meet Leah Clifford and tell her how much I enjoyed this book on the Dark Days of Supernatural book tour coming to MN on the 17th.

The only complaint is two things. One, it's a series (at least I'm assuming so, the ending leaves it open for it to be) and I don't do the "waiting thing" all that well. I'm going to have a withdrawal for a few days while I learn to live with out Eden, Az and Gabe until the next one comes out. And the other was that I was given a lot of information to process at the start. Although I am technically learning it along with Eden, it can get a little confusing if you're not paying attention.
